Hi all.
I wouldn’t normally post a request such as this on a Warlord Games forum, but I have searched their catalogue first with no joy –
Does anyone know of a company that makes Napoleonic French command groups in a running pose?
Any info will be gratefully received!John

The Germans were not alone is suffering from a friendly fire incident. The Hotchkiss gunner in the armoured car was still mildly shocked and disoriented. Peering through the narrow observation port, he spotted what appeared to be German infantry through the aftermath of the Granatwerfer explosion. The gunner opened fire. Shouts and frantic…[Read more]

Hi everyone, I think I’ve suffered the same problem – I tried to post a ‘hello!’ in the Community Introductions and also start a thread in the Hail Caesar section, both of which seem to have vanished into the ether – I guess also because of the hyperlinks? Would it be possible to have them approved?
Best wishes and thanks.

Steeljackal is correct, while the first edition guidance wasn’t included in the FUBAR and moving on/off the table text, it has been reflected in the vehicle rules.

The German squads inflicted multiple casualties and pins on the British right flank infantry section. The German FO managed to call in a barrage to help the assault. Tragically, the rounds landed on the Minenwerfer team. The whole team was wiped out. A large Litko explosion marker can be seen in the attached photo, indicating where the…[Read more]

It is not need of FAQ, see Vehicle chapter, “Vehicles and norders” paragraph “…if it reaches the table edges, then it move as far as it can and goes DOWN…”

There was a first edition FAQ that addressed this in general for units fleeing as a result of FUBAR which didn’t make it into the second edition as a clarified wording or as an FAQ answer. None of the relevant first edition wording was changed, so the second edition answer should be the same.
“If a unit rolls a Panic result on the FUBAR chart…[Read more]

In the main rule book it says a recce vehicle that fails its order test goes backwards directly at advance speed with the pivots. This came up in a game with a greyhound with 2 pins. She couldnt pass her leadership and the vehicle kept going backwards for 4 rounds straight. Can it go off the board? Note she tried passing two rallies too and on…[Read more]

So…
It’s been about a month and a half now since the last release announcement, including the German and British aircraft boxes. I would have expected to see the next release announcement – including aircraft boxes for the US and Japan – to show up by now. Wonder why the delay?
On the positive side, the store page can now be sorted by…[Read more]

Ship cards come with the ship models.
My understanding is that ship stats – independent of the cards – can be found in the full rulebook.

Another view of the German left flank attack, supported by the sniper team and 37mm anti-tank gun in the foreground.

The Granatwerfer team were also disappointed (to put it mildly) with the effect too. It seemed to them as if some higher god was just throwing dice… Throwing such superstitions to one side, the team set about placing the next round on the spigot. Meanwhile, the German Zugführer (a Leutnant with several years of experience by this stage of the…[Read more]

@MReyne – “where do the Disembarking rules state that troops can dismount 6 inches away from the transport.”
See p116, Vehicles, Transport Vehicles, Dismounting From Transports, third para, second sentence. The unit is ordered to advance or run “Make the action as normal, measuring from the vehicle” – this allows a unit to dismount up to 6…[Read more]

When should we expect to see ship cards being released?

This is slightly off topic, but where do the Disembarking rules state that troops can dismount 6 inches away from the transport.
2nd Ed says that measurement is taken from the transport. My one opponent had the same impression that his transports could catapult their cargo at the enemy and we could not find any wording anywhere to support…[Read more]

I am about to play my first game using a squad.
I have a couple of thoughts on how to make them at least points neutral. My plans at least… we shall see…
1. They only ever RUN or FIRE.
2. They never dismount
3. Use their RECCE ability to make my opponent waste a unit shooting at them while they escape. This will mean they have to be t…[Read more]
