In Epic , how are people handling units going into squares that have less than 3 strips?
Cheers

I’m new to BA so still building up. I like the pin marker rules and I’ve noted the different ways people mark with multiple markers or dials or D6 holders on Etsy.
Maybe it’s because I’m a dumb Marine but I like visual gauges and I was reminded of the WW2 video game Brothers In Arms because suppressing was integral to gameplay. They had a gauge…[Read more]

This is an old post but I’m just getting started in BA. I’m wondering about the pin markers. We’re you using them to mark pins but then also to mark where there were casualties?
I thought of using the stuck rifles but prefer prone figures I think.

Hi Ed – Warlord do have one slated for release “soon” ish. If you cant wait then Armaments in Miniature in the US have them. They’re also available as 3d prints from RoCWorks models in the UK and Lead Pursuit in the US

It’s just the structure of the rule set. They are mobile but no spotter. You have to decide which you would rather have on the table.

The 2nd and 3rd picture depict a strong tactical defensive set up- of a 10.5cm arty, a MMG team (both going on ambush any chance they can) and a large lmg squad to withstand close combat.
I thought I’d add some more pics with Tigers at play, and a sdkfz 10/4 which tends to burn easily as a soft skin amongst US Paras.

In my humble opinion- if the German Herman Goering Div commander takes transport for his squads (which is historically accurate as Goering pet division was nearly fully motorized) – the scenario is unwinnable for the US player. A russki like swarm of HG Div grenadiers swamps 2 of 3 objectives on Biarra ridge.
My regulars and I have played the…[Read more]

It is quite notional. Old timers in the wargames community know that increased realism equals decreased playability.

For anyone who might be having similar problems, the best approach I found was black undercoat, then blocking colours on afterwards.
Results were quite acceptable even to a critical like me.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Is there any likelihood or plans for warlord to produce any more vehicles for the Italians?</p>
I’m thinking about the armoured transport Autoprotetto S37 as an example. Plus, whilst I’m here, are the Paracadutisti getting a plastic set? -

A short and easy question.
Why the Self-Propelled Artillery haven’t a spotter option if weapon is a medium or an heavy howitzer/mortar?
Thanks.
