From a rough reading I can agree.

But for the same reason then a fixed weapon (MMG or mortar) cannot be moved in rough terrain because it only moves with a RUN order (according to the rulebook).
Reading the FAQ / Errata (where it is said that a fixed weapon moves with RUN order in rough terrain but only 6”), I understand that by extension a unit in rough ground can uses the RUN order (maximum distance 6 ”) to reach and get into a vehicle.
Wanting to see the logic makes sense like this, it would not make sense that a unit 1” from the vehicle but in rough ground does not have time to reach it and mount onboard.

I found some answer, I put here if can help others:

1 and 2. Reich color only used on green helmets (right hand side) and Reich Eagle (left hand side) Discontinued around 1940 – 1942

3 Obersoldat (Senior Private) like USA private first class

4 Ranks for officers used on camo unifors

5 Used to show what regiment or division you belonged to. In the Army only used by GrossDeutchland Divison and war correspondent

6 Tank destruction badge (one silver for each tank destroyed and gold for 5 tanks). Destroyed an enemy tank or an armored combat vehicle using a hand-held weapon. Anti-tank units were ineligible for this award (pak crew)

7 Kill marker was painted on gun shields or side of the tanks. And the white stripes around the gun barrels for each kill

    An example on pic uploaded…

So if you put an infantry squad behind a building and leave a LMG in open ground, your unit benefit from cover but LMG can shot without cover  modifier (obviously unless there are other obstacles to the firing line)

    Faq pg. 16

“If a heavy artillery piece is not deployed (like in scenarios where
everything starts off map), and the army does not include a tow/
towing vehicle, does it mean the artillery piece cannot enter the
battle? Is it lost, like reserves that fail to enter?
We will make an exception to the rules in this case, allowing
heavy guns that start off the table and have no tow, a single 6″
move when they enter the table as first wave or from reserve (no
outflanking!). Imagine that a horse-drawn limber or vehicle has
towed them to the very edge of the table and then hastily retreated!”

So no need of transport to enter on table if artillery is in first wave

I attach some photos I took in Normandy, they are original uniforms. As uniforms are old, the original colors may have been more saturated.

I am also attaching some photos of miniatures (one is self made Lt Winter) quickly painted with the colors I indicated earlier.

In Normandy us aurborne uniforme arent greenish, but something like yellow/sand.

I use colors that I already have, armypainter hemp rope (you can use vallejo middlestone too) and bazooka green, then army painter quick shade and uniform is ok, nobody see difference.

If uou want more precise colors take a look here

    1 – Strafing fighter,

    2-3 – Fighter-bomber

    4-5-6 – Ground-attack aircraft

    Come from first edition rulesbook.

    1-2 – Strafing fighter,

    2-4 – Fighter-bomber

    5-6 – Ground-attack aircraft

Is on second edition rulesbook. Fighterbomber is wrong.

    1-2 – Strafing fighter,

    3-4 – Fighter-bomber

    5-6 – Ground-attack aircraft

Is correct. Errata&faq has corrected fighterbomber

    Same rules as infantry.

If target unit has not already taken an order in that turn, then can react opening fire.

Assaulting any building has to be done through entrances … so windows, doors

If trought entrances, then you can’t assault reaching a window, beacuse you can enter in a bunker only reaching a door.

Rules are not clear on this. You can assault reaching an opening (opening that you can use to enter or not) or only reaching an opening you can enter?

Bunker follow building rules with exceptions:

    – you can enter only reaching a door (not a window)

    – you can fire only throught a window (not a door)

NOTE: I wrote “windows” but I speaking of “firing slits” as in bunker paragraph
