Hi all,
Just to give you all the heads-up that Rick Priestley has kindly included my Campaign rules on his website. Our group has had great fun with them and I hope that as soon as you are able to get together again that your groups will as well.

A bit presumptuous of you, I’m 57, not often I’m called young 😉
Seriously though, time is precious, I don’t expect to have to google to see whether I have all the parts, what it…[Read more]

I tend to first look at Warlord’s pictures, second google it. If that doesn’t yield the answer, wing it – so long as the model looks ok on the table top no-one is going to question if there’s a small bit missing.
I dropped my German sniper figure not once, but three times, during assembly and painting. The third time his gun barrel broke but n…[Read more]

Oh you young peopes, old gamers like me started in pre internet time and got nothing but books. (And had to walk 15 miles through snow to school 😉 )
The Schweres Maschinengewehr Lafette had some high settings to offer best arc of fire and cover combination. So the Warlord Version is not unusual.
I tried to take an explaining pic from my…[Read more]

Think I have worked out what they are trying to do. But getting pretty fed up of having to watch youtube videos and google pictures every time I have to assemble a Warlord Games model.

Hi,
One of my pet hates with Warlord Games (and other wargame miniature manufacturers) is the complete lack of assembly instructions and diagrams.
Getting some blisters feels like “here are some parts, guess which bits are flash and what is meant to be there and guess how it fits together.
Anyway the one that has me stumped at the moment is the…[Read more]

That looks good – mine looks more like the one on the Warlord Games site
Did the gun shield on your model naturally fall into that position or did you have to manipulate it?
Cheers,
Nigel

From the photos on the Walord site often it is not clear how some pieces are mounted. I remember that I had the same problem with pak36. I don’t remember if I forced anything or just glued it with the correct angle

Hmmm, I did the Blitzkrieg one at it had the correct angle.

I know, it’s just a gaming piece, I’m being too pedantic …..
I have just attached the gun shield to the gun of my Blitzkrieg PAK 36 and as soon as it set I looked at it and thought “that shield looks far to vertical”.
So off to google to look at pictures and sure enough they all show the gun shield with much more of a backward slope.
Maybe I a…[Read more]

There is a discrepancy between the PDF and the printed volume, the 2013 one has Pas de Charge and the 2016 has removed the Pas de Charge. It does not make sense for them to have it, but I assume the 2016 version is the correct one?

There was near to no chance to see a submerged mine. Even the contact mine was deep enough to be invisible. So normally S-Boote and MTB could pass contact mine fields without risk.
The magnetic, pressure or sound mines are very difficult to clear. There are settings that made them immune to the first contacts in a given time, so a Sperrbrecher…[Read more]
