IIRC the gentelmans war gives a nice rounded v2 list… so i’d go with that and then see what you need (if anything) to add to make a legal v3 list.

Mike, two things,

1) most game systems keep points cost calculations in-house to stop people creating their own units that can then break the systems.  We can extrapulate a number of the costs but with tanks you have roundings and (hopefully) proportional costs.  To put a build your own tank program out is bad for buisness.

It would be useful if Bolt Action produced a software program where players could introduce their own stats for a unit’s profile, and it would generate a cost.  So, if you wanted to use some of the V2 books like Case Blue for the Italians, you could simply run their profile through the program to get the “cost” for the unit.

In my view, spotters had limited contact, normally only with the unit they were directing for.

Saying that an RAF officer could direct mortars for an infantry unit is bonkers.

the v3 get-you-by lists are copy and pastes with minor CORE rule changes from the armies of books … historical unit changes werent updated – even those that have been in the v2 FAQ for YEARS!

The campaign book corrections likewise havent been factored in to the get-you-by lists…
