Has anyone designed or created any customized ships flags? I’m thinking of Merchant company ships flags for all nations.

- HI MacCollac,
I know this is only 5 years after you posted this question, but I just now saw this when I was looking for something else.
To answer your question (five years later) Yes I have used Sails of Glory terrain with Black Seas and it scales well, even if in a forced perspective type of thing.
I’ve used the Coastal Batteries as well as…

Word in the FB groups is that WL have gone ‘oops, missed that… they’ll be added in the errata…’
keep an eye on the downloads page for when it is released, (or the WarLord list builder app which is updated with WLs offical errata) … its got a few entries due that i’m aware of
Until then I’d use the same costs as the get-you-by list in the…[Read more]

I noticed in the Description it says, “Trucks were sometimes armed with a pintle-mounted machine gun – primarily for anti-aircraft defense – and we include this option here.”
but they don’t include adding a machine gun in the option list. So, which is it? Yes, they can have a machine gun and if so, what is the costs? Or no, they can’t. -

Apparently (as I dont have AoG) stuff like mule teams are in the book..
I have heard that the truck entries in the book are missing MG upgrades so they are there as well…So it sounds like that NO you cant take the ‘common transport vehicles’ from the main rulebook as they have superseeding entries in the armies book.

I don’t have the WL app but had a member on Reddit confirm that they are available to Germany on the app, so I’m assuming I can bring them!

Definetly something to email through to WL …

If I’m creating a list using the Armies of Germany book, can I take selections from the “Common Transport Vehicles” section of the main rulebook p.278-280?
They don’t show up in the E/M/L Force Selection Guide of the AoG book p.116-126
I would imagine you wouldn’t mix between the Armies of Germany book and the Germany section of the main rule…[Read more]

The medic rule is only from the medic model itself, not any attendants – “If the medic’s own unit, or any friendly infantry or artillery unit that has a model within 6″ of the medic model itself, suffers damage from small arms fire…”.

Ok so I have a question that came up both in a 2e and 3e game that we played earlier in the week. Does a medic with attendants (i.e., the option to take extra soldiers) get multiple uses of the medic rule? So if my medic unit has 3 soldiers in it (the medic and 2 others) does that mean that I can use the medic’s rules 3x? I apologize if this ha…[Read more]

Stuart Harrison replied to the topic German horse drawn artillery officer. in the forum Bolt Action 1 year, 4 months ago
I’m not seeing any option for German officers to be mounted at all. The provision for mounting officers in the second edition was dependent on having cavalry squads in your force – a limber is not a squad.

Am I right in saying that if my artillery is being towed by a horse drawn limber (page 91) I can have the officer mounted horse back.

I have noticed in the SDKFZ 3 entry Option it states, May replace the pintle MMG covering the front arc with 2 pintle mounted MMGs covering the front arc for +10pts (representing the 250/4 prototype). Should this have been in the SDKFZ 250 entry?

I’d put that down to a probable anomoly where they haven’t yet considered the rule interaction between a ‘weapon’ which is fired normally, with it’s own ‘to hit’ mechanics, then runs under the target to detonate (why no pen modifiers appy) and the newly introduced cover save, which would apply to ‘fired as normal’, unless stated…[Read more]

I read it as a a fur-coated panzerfaust too, which should mean we get a cover save if in cover when hit. My opponent tried to argue it’s not a shot, and you only get cover saves from shooting. However, it then seemed odd that a non shot that was actually a dog running with a load was somehow unhindered by all terrain types, even impassible. Also,…[Read more]

As written, it’s more like a fur-coated panzerfaust than a suicide AT. It is a one shot weapon that is ‘fired as normal’ except that it has it’s own ‘to hit’ process using the chart instead of modifiers.
