Thanks KAR98K …Yes good point about 3d prints….R do have some nice pieces in development. I like the idea that 3d and plastic kit markets are pushing both to do better.
and yeap waste not – lets use up those spares parts! Glad it helped to spark you onto something(get a picture up!)
But have you noticed the price of green stuff lately -…[Read more]0 -

Love the latest WI magazine. Some good articles on beach landings (all ages/genres ) …worth a read and you get a free warlord games spue. WW2 Marines. Ideal lockdown materials…. both of them. Great value.
Anyone painted up the Marines…let’s see some pictures…. still working on my packet(s).
Keep safe everyone.

Quick question…did the Marine medics in the early Pacific theatre’s identify themselves with red crosses on a white background?
I know the usual helmet and arm bands were used in Europe but I vaguely remember reading they didn’t use these in the Pacific…?
Did the corpsemen just treat their colleagues…was the lack of ID perhaps due to…[Read more]

Hi it can be a little overwhelming. Here’s my tip…Google.
Hedges …pan scourers yes….but try to get Eager Beaver scourers they are massive. An inch thick.
Houses …..mdf pretty cut or foam if you want DIY.
Trees …scenics are great at tree skeletons that you bend into shape and add clump foliage.
But don’t forget a battle mat we us…[Read more]

During lockdown we (Glasgow Warhogs) have been looking at a Pacific game…we picked an island and ordered up from Warlord 3 pks of Marines and 3 pkts of Japs (Naval Marines and 2 normal infantry). These look great when painted up.
But for our island I noticed from our research that the US marines used LVT1’s with Sherman M4a2 (plain not up…[Read more]

If you are into Stalingrad check Glasgow Warhogs blog – Stalingrad factory…
We used Pz4, Stug, Sig33 open and Sig 33a closed, Nebelwefer. I never seen any reference Flampanzers…in the books we used.

Agreed – its even freaker when you start 3d printing vehicles….
what do you take as your “datum”… actual(s) – and lets face it there are a few dodgy actual figures out there? warlord sizes? Blitgrieg sizes? Rubicon? and then you find out its a different version your measuring LOL
I find that with vehicles its “actual” that works best – but…[Read more]
