Attention Span Labs replied to the topic US national rule Arsenal of Democracy reroll on flamethrower in the forum Konflikt '47 6 months, 1 week ago
I would say no. The flamethrower is not a multi-shot weapon, it’s a multiple hit weapon, like an artillery shell.

No problem, Bob. I complain a bit about firearms, ’cause I’m under the impression that pretty much no one at Warlord Games seems to know how they actually work. IMO, these errors seem to always benefit the Allied players, at the expense of the German players. One of my contentions is that magazine-fed guns, like the BREN, Lewis, ZB26, Nambu, ar…[Read more]

So in close combat against a vehicle, Normally you add up all the hits against vehicles and add that to a D6 roll.
My question is: how do close combat weapons with a pen value, such as the werewolves, affect that.

I don’t think the Aircraft schedule includes a B25H (strafer) although it might get close with the ASW version. Has anyone out there looked at how they would modify the stats for the B25 to accommodate this aircraft which was a rather devastating modification especially to Japanese destroyers and/or cruisers. My thinking is that using 6 attack d…[Read more]

Michael started the topic US national rule Arsenal of Democracy reroll on flamethrower in the forum Konflikt '47 6 months, 1 week ago
So the US gets there national rules of AOD( Arsenal of democracy) that allows them to reroll 1 hit roll from a muiltshot weapon
Example Auto cannon get 2 shots and if 1 misses your allowed to reroll the 1 missed shot.
So my question would this apply to the flamethrower, in my understanding it Shouldn’t apply cause the flamethrower is firing 1…[Read more]

Howdy Bob!
If you look close, you’ll see my initial post was from two years ago, referring to Konflikt Version 1. Yeah, IMO, it’s gotten totally out-of-hand in Version 2.0. Now all these countries that never even had a real belt-fed LMG in WWII suddenly have one on every single armored suit. And there’s a buncha special exceptions so now th…[Read more]

Attention Span Labs replied to the topic Used vehicles by the Japanese Army in the forum Konflikt '47 6 months, 1 week ago
Are you looking for permission? If so you have mine. If you want advice on how to stat them out, Bolt Action doesn’t have a very complicated set of vehicle stats. Select a hull DV, select weapons, and maybe add a special rule here or there to better represent the nuances of the vehicle and Bob’s your uncle.

I’m hoping someone can give me some good news here. I am waiting for my Japanese Konflict starter set and have not seen the new Konflict Japanese book yet. In the spirit of bringing the Mouse to the German side is there any work or thought into bringing the Japanese O-I super heavy tank into either Bolt Action or Konflict?
I was looking at a l…[Read more]

Hi all
I’ve watched the designers’ interview (somewhere on YouTube) and from my understanding, they wanted to colour code the Allied Rift tech as blue & the Axis Rift tech as green. I can’t help notice that the ‘Commenwealth mineatures’ have been painted with green rift tech? has there been an answer as to why yet?

Just opened up my new Soviet Army Infantry platoon box and all 5 sprues have a short shot ( meaning the plastic didn’t completely fill the mold ) on part 36, a pair of arms holding a Mosin – Nagant rifle with extended bayonet . None have the end of the barrel and bayonet molded . It’s an fix though if you use the rifle end from part 33 , arm…[Read more]

I’d go with that trucks taken out by small arms is a gameplay balancing act (they did roll on damage tables in v2 so the change is either gameplay or writters)
Or house rule that the porteee / gunshield means you roll on the vehicle damage chart (full damage) instead of auto destroyed?

Theres a couple of issues here…
1 – indirect rule allows the use of spotters.. which isnt really historical
2 – it wasnt that accurate
3 – BA isnt the most accurate game – either weapons, tactics or history4 – slot / unit compition within an army list – they removed medium mortars from the rifle pltn and let light mortars so that ther was a…[Read more]

Vincent replied to the topic I believe that the PIAT should be able to use indirect fire in the forum Bolt Action 6 months, 2 weeks ago
There is no need for a spotter to fire indirect. With a line of sight indirect fire can be useful to shoot over friendly troops. No spotter needed for that. Also handy to shoot at opponents hiding behing a wall or something like that. It would negate the save roll.
