    Awesome work! So much character!

I’ve gotta say, the German coming out of the dugout, looking up at the tank, with an AT mind in his hand, that is straight out of Battlefield. Really well done!

    1 – Choose your target
2- Roll to hit. With indirect weapons you never hit on better than a 6 the first time you fire at a target.
3 – If you miss, the next time you fire, if both you and your target have not moved, you hit on 5+.
4 – If you miss, the next time you fire, if you both you and your target have not moved, you hit on a 4+
    5 – Etc.
6 – If you hit, place the template over the target unit and roll the damage for each model that is even partially under the template.

    Hope this helps!

Cheers! I’ve been following a guide from the Scale 75 Waffen-SS Cammo paint set. Having a set of colors that are meant to work together made it much easier!

Some finishing touches last night. Still need to finalize that basing but this first batch of four are ‘complete’. I hope to start the next batch of four this week.

    Hello!

When a vehicles fires at another vehicle work out the “To Hit” roll just like you would for infantry. For example, your tank was ordered to “Advance” (-1 To Hit) and your target is at Long Rage (-1 “To Hit”) resulting in you needed a 5+ “To Hit”.

Now, let’s say you hit your target. Then you roll a die to try and damage your target and add your weapons Pen. Value. For example, you are firing a Heavy AT Gun (Pen. Value of +6). So, roll a die (let’s say you roll a 4) and add 6 (the Pen. Value) to the roll, resulting in a 10. The Armor Value of your target is number you need to get to achieve damage. If you were firing at a Light Tank (Armor 8), you did it! Now roll on the Damage Chart. But, if you were firing at a Super Heavy Tank (Armor 11) your result of a 10 did not cause any damage, but you still caused a Pin!

I know that was a wall of text and I hope it makes sense! It’s much easier than it sounds!

For your second question – “Do the rules make a distinction between the Soviet T34/85 and a German mark IV?”

I’m not not what you mean. Do those two tanks have different rules? Yep!

So a tank can shoot through a unit of infantry if the model is mounted prone.

    wut

No. You cannot shoot through friendly units.

Then how do you measure the distance? If all my models are prone?

Measure from the base. Any other method becomes unnecessarily tedious.

One additional attack PER MAN, not for the unit.
5 lancers = 10 attacks, plus being cavalry they get “tough fighter” – additional attacks for each casualty inflicted.

    Correct!

More progress, finally! I think this first batch of four is just about done – besides the basing.

“Reece is fine as is. Their die comes out.”

Agreed. Recce was brought in line with Second Edition and I have no issues with the current rule. By targeting a recce vehicle that has not yet activated you force your opponent to choose – a) Make an escape move and then pull a die and be marked as Down (can no longer activate) or b) Risk taking a hit but still being able to activate later in the turn.

    It’s a good balance.

Solid progress on the first batch of four models over the weekend. This is my first attempt at the late-war cammo scheme and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Still plenty of word to do!

Squad based over the weekend. I’ll have them primed and apply the zenithal highlight early this week. Hopefully brush on model no later than this weekend.
