    Anyone know where you can buy Chaplin figures?

    A Charlie Chaplin big dictator or a Bolt Action Chaplain with typo?

    To do a chaplain is easy. Officer in battle Dress with the chaplain’s cap.
    But many just wore a steel helmet or Khaki cap with badge. And the collar.

    Warlord Games used to produce the perfect Chaplain figure; Major Turntadust with his ‘holy symbol’ and Thompson. Not sure he’s available now?

    I understand RAF Chaplains could have carried a Sten instead 🙂

    Thanks guys. I’m keen to test out playing this role as think it could be a hidden gem in the game. Haven’t come across anyone using them to date. A small points investment as well

    The major Chaplin is found in the konflict47 part of the store.

    but to re iterate what IO said..any officer should do with proper painting

    I think the model looks nicer if it is holding the bible, so other models will require some customisation.

    It shouldn’t be hard to scratch build one using an officer or other figure. You just need to find a suitable figure. Be sure to add the chaplain’s stole and maybe have the figure hold a bible or carry a communion kit. However, I think a chaplain’s purple stole would be the most distinctive item, and this can be fabricated from a few different materials, but using a fine epoxy putty might be the easiest.

    I assume Nat is refering to this British Major, but he is holding a Thompson SMG, so may not be really appropriate.
