When firing the main gun of long barreled tank, where do we start measuring?
From the end tip of the barrel or the mantle?December 5, 2021 at 12:31 pm #186808Stuart HarrisonParticipant
P99, Vehicles, Vehicles and Measuring Distances, “… measured to and/or from the closest point of the hull of the model itself, including when firing the vehicles weapons.”
No benefit from a model with a 75L70 or detriment from a 75L24 – both measure from the closest point of the hull.December 5, 2021 at 2:07 pm #186812SteinerParticipant
Thanks. It’s much simpler this way. 🙂January 20, 2022 at 1:02 pm #187030IpaintedmineParticipant
Just take a sig33 or any 150mm howitzer and know there’s nowhere you can’t target and potentially hit on the table 😎January 21, 2022 at 12:55 am #187035Kar98kParticipant
I think the reason this keeps coming up from time to time is because in the older rule book you would measure from the gun.
