I just removed the extra tags you initially put.
I think that you paste the already formatted link into the forum link form instead of just pasting it into the post.

And now for something different (than the usual planes from BRS)

    TARDIS

A post 2005 resin TARDIS for a friend of mine.

    Supreme Dalek Red

    A supreme Dalek …

    Special Weapons Dalek

… and a special weapons Dalek for me.

Ok. I also have TARDIS for me to paint.

    Thanks a lot.
I’m pretty happy with TARDIS, especially as it was a present to a friend.

Still have to paint mine now 😅

Finally finished a few more squadrons.

For the first time I used a gray wash instead of a black wash and the result is cleaner as usual. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show up on the pics :/

Probably biased, but I love those Hurricanes 🙂

A grey wash. Sounds interesting. I was painting some off white/grey uniforms today and I was thinking that black wash would be too dark and brown too warm. Which grey wash did you use?

    Thanks a lot @gareth.
In fact, the squadron’s paint was already done for quite a time, I was delaying the decals part again and again.

    @Charge the Guns
We are all have a bias, whatever it is.
At least you know what’s your. I still appreciate the Hurricane’s compliment 😉

In this case I used Vallejo Pale Grey Wash (73202 from the Game Color range) but the Light Grey Wash maybe a bit darker so could fit better your needs.

It was a first (and lucky) try. Here is what I’ve noticed:
-as expected, compared to the black wash it reduce the dirty effect I tend to have
-if the black wash tend to give a shiny effect, the grey wash makes thing matter
-it works great on colors like yellow or white and even with other greys but not necessary all of them
    – obviously, it’s less popping than a clean black wash which is harder to achieve for me
