Thanks. That saved a lot of in trying to get those plastic guns out before finding out the metal ones wont work. Running a game on Friday at Drums at the Rapids near Toledo, OH, and the models are nearly done, I hated the idea of needing to change this last thing in the little time I have left.

I don’t believe it is in the rules. I haven’t found it anyway. What I have seen is 2 different ideas on how to house-rule it, one that the vessel withdraws from the play area for a turn (or more) and reenters loaded assuming it left, went to dead stop or slow speed, spent one turn reloading at that speed, then turned and reentered. The other was that it came to a stop on the table while it spent one turn at a stop reloading, which makes it a great target. Without some sort of reload rule, the points for reloads on the S-Boats are a waste, so this might be a good time to come to some sort of consensus on a rule. I would love to see other ideas.

My minesweeper was missing the radar antenna and they responded quickly and sent the part out inside of 2 weeks. I’ve done painting work on quite a few Warlord minis over the last few years as consignment work, and have always had a quick response and good service getting missing or damaged parts sent within a reasonable period.

Thanks! I’m just beginning to get to that point of needing a magnifier for some things like those. I could make out the ventilators in the Warlord pics today but then couldn’t remember if those coincided with the locations of the holes. I can finish the boats up tomorrow then. Everything else has worked out with a bit of online research and some Osprey e-books with decent color plates to look at.

I just assembled the two Fairmile Ds that came in the British fleet pack last night, but there are 4 very small bits on a sprue and 4 little holes that I presume they go in, and I have no idea what those would be. This is the sort of bit that usually gets glued to the tweezers instead of the model, so I want to make sure they are there for some purpose before I try them. I don’t see them in your excellent photos.

I-94 enterprises sell a range of decals for their 1/300 scale planes. I know they have sharks teeth decals for the planes that might work.

New to the forum but I’ve been a miniatures and board gamer since ’74. I am looking forward to getting Cruel Seas and have been reading up on the history of small vessel combat. I live in Dayton, Ohio and run games at several regional HMGS conventions.
