AA can&#8217;t shoot into the dogfight, bombers make their attacks, and then probably get savaged by the fighters afterwards (but might actually win if they get lucky with the die rolls &#8211; particularly if the &#8220;bombers&#8221; in question are F4U Corsairs).</p>
