    Thanks everyone.

I bought the game for the value. The idea of a skirmish ancients game has its appeal. It was just too many dice and while I am not a Min / Max type of player with points in an army list, I just couldn’t help myself with this with the helmet and weapons points upgrades (downgrades?). I moved onto two other games, one by a hedgehog that fights, and another gods that might be mortal. I would love to try this ruleset again. I think Warlord makes a fine quality product. Maybe this one was pushed out early to get out first before those other two games picked up steam? And I will have to check out Infamy Infamy. I haven’t heard about it over here.

That’s cool. Never really thought about what they would be made out of. I don’t know the model, but it looks like a winter time period. Maybe wicker was used to help prevent hands from sticking to metal shell canisters? Just a thought.

What if the German tanks that get Tiger Fear get a rule out of the Tank Wars book? Eliminate the Debuff. Give them a buff to the crew. As far as I am aware, Tiger Fear is the only real debuff rule that exists, that and them poor Italians. If one of those Tiger Fear type tanks had a Tank War rule from Page 28-29 that could be interesting. Give them a little flavor to represent why they were so feared. Those rules already exist and are buffs which most armies have. This would eliminate the debuff mentality and that 12″ aura so that my enemy doesn’t get to know that they are within panzerfaust range. I also like the idea that the Panzer IV must have paid for the Schurzen to make it look more square and box in silhouette like the Tiger was.

    Hi All.

I am in RockVegas Baby! Rockville, MD. But i’m willing to drive and lose graciously. While I have the rules and a mountain of lead, I rarely get a chance to throw dice but it’s all about having fun and arguing about the rules in good taste and tact. If anyone is interested send me a message. I have both late war and early war.

I also do Frostgrave, SAGA, Battletech, Avalon Hill games, and other stuff collected and forgotten about.

    Cheers.
