    Yes

try Chain Of Command or my favorite “Battlegroup”

in all seriousness you may find hard to find players for these games because majority of what I see with Bolt action now are the 40 K crowd that wanna win at all cost and tweak their list

I have to mitt we are older and don’t play tournaments or kill or less we try to keep it historical sometimes we throw points out and just throw a platoon or two down to try it out

I agree with you on team weapons the German medium machine gun should be something feared but in Bolt Action you can charge it with no Problems

so stick to historical opponents i.e. theater lists

try smaller games until you get your mojo back

and look at other rule systems doesn’t mean you have to stop playing Bolt Action but there are more details set out there more historically based

but the key is if you’re not having fun find somebody you’re having fun with

I haven’t played in over a year and we’re gonna try a small 500 point game soon to see what we think if you want to get back into it

that being said we’re having a blast with Battlegroup and all that that provides

there is no one answer to defeat one list or another but I really like playing historical theater list matchups

I just see Bolt action become another 40 K mixup of 1940 Germans facing late war Russians and tournaments and things and it just frost my cookies as expression goes off

    enjoy

Yes but remember the whole team will count as having moved and he can’t do his spotter ability till he remains stationary And consequently it is a fix the weapon which can’t fire on the move either so if he moves the mortar  does not fire

    Hi Greg…
Yep, misc miniatures is a great company
I have so many sets from them
Kevin, the owner, is a great guy to deal with. He enjoys custom work and is willing to take on any project
    But
    He has only 2 p-40 E sets
One is for a Chinese group
One is for no.112 sq Kittyhawks
Those are the only E variants
    He does have
    A p-40 n set (80th FG)
    A p-40F set. (Checkertail clan)

I was looking for the 49th fighter group or 23rd fighter group or even one of the squadrons from Defense of the Philippines.
After that a decent set of p-47d ( 56th fighter group)would be nice
Kevin just has a d bubble top set
What I am wondering is why didn’t warlord put out decals for the new sets like they did the first series of planes, they always put together a package of the squadron the ace came from too
    that would’ve been nice

    Jesse
I have ordered quite a few decals from that site. The owner Kevin, is really nice and has done some custom work for me too. He has 2 p-40e sets one is for Chinese and the other is what I have -raf kittyhawks for no.112 squadron
His other p-40 sets are not for an e model
One is for the p-40 f – very different look and the other is for the P-40N from a group in the CBI (80th) I was just loook g for a good set of E aircraft
    Thanks

    Hi guys
I’ve been playing with 1/72 scale close to 30 years now and can’t wait to try it for Blood Red Skies
If anybody is in the Cleveland or Columbus Ohio area and want to push airplanes around, let me know
