Hope I got this right, I reply to add to the list? 😬

I’m Rob from Essex , huge Bolt Action fan, have almost every book and currently a huge collection of armies. I seem to almost complete a countries army when my fancy switches to someone new and the whole process repeats! 😁.

Worryingly I’ve started to take an interest in British Napoleonic armies.. this could prove problematic for space!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying this amazing hobby and are in good health.

I have also considered the massed assault , especially when using a russian mainly infantry based army.

What i was considering was early game (after purchasing MANY cheap cannon fodder infantry to lead!😁) have an officer snap to 3 lower rank officers who then all snap to further units of maximum filled out infantry (cheap inexperienced types to take the initial fire from an ambush set units) and further officers who then snap to more experienced units to hopefully push right up to the enemy (who have hopefully used their dice already by activating their ambushes)

I know it sounds like a silly idea but how very SOVIET it would be!! 😂

I really wasnt hoping for some spectacular gaming the game result but more your cinematic human wave attack the soviets were famous for. (and to put the wind up a player because he runs out of units to shoot with!)

Im glad to hear my dasterdly plans are actually within the given rules!!! 😁

I have to give it a try. There must be a way to make this work in a spectacular way, like a game of checkers where the last move jumps and removes all the other players pieces in a single stroke!!

It will be entertaining at the very least.

Could we not create a resin version with some bulk and weight to them? This way as mentioned earlier you could use them to not only look fantastic but they act as a “starting position move” marker, in case of an error you can put your ship back to a starting position then once a move is finished correctly you reseat them under the ship model
I was thinking, what about a clear resin? It could be done I think
Alternatively why not a solid representation of wake and water with a small peg hole in which you place a little sail shaped peg with “light”,”battle” and “full” written on them and you swap them out accordingly?

I was thinking of buying the plume markers from cruel seas game to use in black seas but realising one game is 1/300 and the other 1/700 I was wondering will they look rediculously big?
I know there’s no mechanic for the use of plumes BTW just want them for cinematic addition! 👍
If it’s a little exaggerated I’m not bothered but what do you guys think? Will I be better off waiting for warlord to make black seas eye candy type plume markers or making my own? or would the cool looking resin cruel seas plume markers be a nice addition and fit the purpose fine?
    What do you say?
