I would say it is only one pin.
Only “Gravity pulse” and “schockwave” may cause more pins than usual. But I just have taken a look at the special rules in the app so far.

I’ve been through the rule book a million times and I can’t find how many Pins does a Tesla gun (M17 or M21) cause when they hit their target. Got to be more than one pin from the initial hit. It does up to +4 penetration and no armor saves so got be decent amount of pins to go on the target . All the other big rift guns has how many pins are inf…[Read more]

The Warlord supporter list builder allows you to purchase spotters for inexperienced mortars, but I think the cost is the same as for regular and veteran unit spotters. So, I guess if you wanted to cover the map and reduce the risk of losing all your spotters as well as several other advantages the come from having spare spotters, you could l…[Read more]

Nothing stops you taking a spotter with an inexperienced unit, that doesn’t change the fact that only regular and veteran units can use them for line of sight.

In the published Axis list the Platoon Commanders for Schwertruppen and Stahltruppen are both listed under Unit Type as Company Commander rather than Platoon Commander is this a cut and paste error as both have a Company Commander in the list and points for them do not seem to reflect this upgrade.

Yes, when i remember right. Inexp. mortars or indirect weapons can´t use spotters.
But you can buy an inexp. spotter with your inexp. mortar as it seems. And use it with regular or veteran units? I dont know about that.

The reason I ask the question is that the entries for Mortars in the respective army lists within the rulebook (p206, p224, p238, p258, p272) – state in the mortar options – Medium & Heavy mortars may add a spotter for +10pts with no restriction on troop quality.
The Rulebook p102 – In the large box titled – Spotters –If an indirect fire weapon…[Read more]

It looks like the Grizzly is now exclusive to the US army now. But, in the lore paragraphs for the Commonwealth army list, it’s explain that the US supplied their excess walkers to them and they decided to use them for research, as well as make their own unique walkers based off the US ones. The British do have them, but choosing not to deploy…[Read more]

I was looking at my current K47 items for the British and I have a Grizzly Medium Walker but that is not listed in the new British Army List, I hope it will appear in the future. The model is listed in the Warlord Game shop for the British. I don’t see a similar unit that I could proxy for without a lot of conversion. Any suggestions?

When I put this article on the forum I didn’t realise the same question was asked 2 years ago under the title, unclear target. Having read the replies to that article I don’t think the diagram on page 47 covers the situation in question. I’ve added the same photo from the original article which shows almost 50% of the rear unit is behind the unit…[Read more]

The scenario is that two units are firing on one, the first unit has a clear line of fire, the second is behind the first for the most part but my opponent claims that the unit may fire as the command in the center is just to the side of the unit to their front. I don’t see this covered in the rules, my unit would be an unclear target at the very…[Read more]

A unit of heavy cavalry has just been in melee and won, the opponent has fallen back and the heavy cavalry deside to carry out a sweeping advance.
Is this classed as a new melee or a continuation of the first, if it’s a new melee heavy cavalry would be hitting on a 3, if it’s a continuation they would hit on a 2 due to having impetus and winner…[Read more]
