Showcase: Sherman M4A3 (76)

no comments

The Sherman Tank was the mainstay of the American army. The break out from the Normandy beaches and the bocage could never been achieved without the armoured support. Although they had their weaknesses and were nicknamed ‘Ronsons’ by the Germans as they lit up every time; their impressive firepower and large production numbers enabled the Allies to overpower the Germans.

This fine piece of armour was expertly finished by the far too talented Neil Burt of Troop of Shewe. Once we got it into our hot, little hands, we couldn’t help but show off our latest Bolt Action vehicle in all it’s glory!

Neil went all out on our new tank and made sure that he tarted it up properly. Neil couldn’t resist adding a few crew to the command tank to really give it that special touch. In case you were wondering, this is a resin tank and tracks with white metal parts. Neil has converted the additional tank links, crew, and baggage shown below and these don’t come with the kit as sold in case you were wondering.

If you hadn’t noticed, this tank is the upgunned 76mm version of the M4A3. The 75mm variant (before you ask) will be available very soon. The new Bolt Action Sherman M4A3 (76) is now available in the Warlord web store.
