Here we have a selection of off the shelf and converted vehicles for the Pacific theatre. Although there may not be as many varients present in this theatre it doesn’t mean that the tread-head in you can’t have a bit of fun.
The Sherman has been converted in two very different ways. One has the flame thrower trailer from the Crocodile in tow to create the M4A2 Zippo, the other has a heavily modified add on pack of sand bags. Including a few infantrymen catching a ride!
The Japanese tanks give a great indication of the various camouflage schemes that were used.
This is a closer look at the conversion for the Zippo. As you can see with a very simple connection including a magnetised contact point this becomes a very flexible model on and off the battlefield.
