What happens to a support unit if the main unit engaged in combat loses the combat, does not break but rather just retires. Does the support go with them or do they hold fast?

    Hi Mark,

In this case the supports stay where they are. Often supports can end up being charged by sweeping advancing cavalry in these cases. Cavalry fights can be bloody and short – beware! 😉

Can a non-cav unit move back into combat with the support unit?

    Hi Mark,

No. Only cavalry can use a sweeping advance to charge into combat.
