Japanese SS-KI armoured work vehicle

Hi all!

MRB p62 states vehicle flame throwers have a rang of 12″ and cause D6+1 hits for a successful roll to hit. So far, so good.

In Empire of Flames, the entry for the above vehicle, states on p30 that the SS-KI has a “small” flamethrower that has its range “limited” to 12″, and the number of shots is “always reduced by one (2D6-1).

I’m guessing this is a throwback to 1st edition rules?
How does this convert to 2nd edition rules?

yeah 1st Ed rules

I would use the small vehicle flamethrower rule from the WASP entry in the FAQ (pg 8) and change the name from WASP to SS-KI

Nat, just checked the Sept 2019 faq, and it has the same wording as EoF. I.e. 1st edition rules. Have I got the wrong faq?
