    Hey all.

On pg 109 of the Burma book it says a reinforced platoon can’t be mixed (i.e. it’s either all SNLF or IJA). However, an army can be made up of multiple reinforced platoons – if we were playing a sufficiently big enough game that more than one could be fitted in, could one be an IJA platoon and one be SNLF? I’m hoping yes as the SNLF don’t get that many chances to hit the table and I’d like to play a 3 player game with 1 player taking IJA, 1 SNLF and the third taking over the role of the allies – might just do it regardless but would be interested to know what is “correct”

    Cheers all.

I’d lean to the view that its platoons that cant be mixed not the force as a whole… this is backed up by the fact you can take armoured platoons alongside infantry platoons in the stalingrad campaign book.

Cheers for the reply – yeah that’s a good point too. Ta!
