    The unit would still need to make an order test before firing until all pins are removed.  The roll to hit would be 6 then 5 as normal indirect zeroing in. if you have a spotter  and you are firing from what they see and they have pins then an order test is needed or if you are firing from what the mortar can see and they don’t have pins but the spotter does, then you don’t need to pass an order test.

    There’s no -1 for turning the turret and the extra pin for mg is a house rule that is still in debate here in maine.

    If you deploy at least one unit of Pathfinders on the table before the game states (i.e. the Pathfinders are not in the first wave or in reserve), then any friendly paratroopers and glider units in reserve may re-roll failed Order tests to come onto the table.

    Does this mean I can setup my pathfinder like i would spotters and snipers. Thanks

    when mortars get pins and they pass the order test do the pins add to the roll needed to hit the target like infantry or do the pins only matter for order test.
