One of the most widespread scout cars in the British and Commonwealth armies. The Dingos were the unsung heroes of the armoured and infantry division’s reconnaissance regiments as well as the army level recce regts. Fast and light; they may not have had much of a punch being only equipped with a single Bren gun, but they could make sure you were well away by the time Jerry went to deliver his punch!
In North West Europe the armoured car recce regiments used Dingoes at all levels. The light troop used 2 Daimler Dingoes and 2 Daimler armoured cars. The heavy troop had a single Dingo with two AEC armoured cars.
The first thing you’ll notice is the new model comes with separate metal wheels rather than the based version sold previously. Expect to see more of the based options being replaced over the next few weeks…
Our Dingo armoured car kit consists of:
One Daimler Dingo armoured car
One driver miniature
One commander miniature
As you can see from the photograph above, these recce vehicles weren’t used by just British forces. So maybe have a go at painting up a captured German version for your Axis army…
Keep your eyes on the Warlord newsletter as we’re about to go into a frenzy of vehicles releases – both old favourites and all-new models!
