Main rulde book, Page 48, last paragraph on the left side:

“If a unit has take cover, or if it is occupying buildings….. Infantry units in a defensive square formationare also more likely to fight on,….”.

Is that an error, or should units in square get a morale bonus similar to those in attack column?

Also, is there are errata/FAQ for BP 2?

Is there an updated FAQ and/or errata document for version 2.

It is not an error, just in the wrong place. The advantage for squares comes in the Break test, in which they treat all Retire results as Hold your ground. see page 89.

As far as I know there is not FAQ for BPII.

    Hi Gary,

That may have been the intention, but then why is the text in the section entitled “Morale Saves”, not “Break tests”? Is this one of Warlords classics?

Yes exactly, the editing of BPII leaves a lot to be desired at times. It is not entirely inconsistent as the Morale Saves and Break tests work in tandem to represent morale. But with regard to your original question there has never been any discussion of having an additional morale save factor for squares. The break test rule for squares is a big advantage for them.
