Soviet 45mm AT gun assembly advice

Trying to put one of these together and the small bit which has the traverse and elevation wheels has me stumped.

Where is that meant to attach?

My best guess is that it has a little divot and the right hand side the gun breech has a pip so it fits there. But that would be nonsenses because the wheels would end up at the wrong position according to all online photos of the real thing and why would you have the traverse controls on the beech – they should be on the carriage.

But I can’t see any other possible location – anyone able to shed any light on it?
