Jim RipleyParticipantReceived my plastic 6 pounder yesterday , just about a month after I pre-ordered it and a few weeks earlier than the August shipping date , well done Warlord . Nice kit , goes together well . A couple of wheel styles , barrels , gun shields and trail legs options . Its the trail legs that confuse me as the details molded on the sides look nothing like the equipment issued to any gun I’ve seen , it’s supposed to be metal pry bars and wooden poles fore cleaning the barrel with an odd shovel or pick handle . The parts on the standard trail legs look like 5 foot long hydraulic cylinders , I’m not interested in the Airbourne version of the gun so I never bothered to see if those were correct . At least the Warlord plastic is soft so removing the offending molded on parts isn’t that much of a hassle , unlike say parts on Rubicon’s harder plastic . And just another pet peeve , you only get 2 ammo boxes , there should be at least 4 IMO , better with 6 . There should be 4closed , 1 empty and 1 with a round or 2 removed to show the gun in action . The crew are ok as supplied , not quite the size of the new plastic Brits but better than the original plastic 5 man sprue . Also the paired weapon arms from the new plastics Brits as well as the Airbourne & Commandos fit the shoulders without sanding / putty . Rating 9 – 10
