Light Guns/AA

Do Light guns using the DP rule shoot at aircraft when other AA dedicated guns fire or do they shoot when the rest of the main guns shoot during ship shooting activation? Also, would a light gun responding to an Aircraft token from the port/starboard get halved due to DP and then halved again because they are restricted?

1) light guns using DP are light guns that are able to shoot flights, they by pass Tough & Very Tough but are used during the ships activation -this has been confirmed by the Author on Social Media,  if you check out the ‘news from the wardroom!’ thread I’ve put up a flights 101 guide which has all the references of how they work.  There is also a cheat sheet for turn guide (with a slight error – orders in the wrong phase!) & all gunnery modifiers.

2) both DP & Restricted traits take effect if the flight is in the port/starboard arc – this has been confirmed by emails from the warlord studio team from the 2 player set (and copied on to the wardroom FB group)
