Thanks for list! very good way to avoid searching battle orders.

Do you maybe have for them drummer color and voltigeur epaulets/feathers.

What i found is following site with lot of resources.

i actually plan to make 2-3 regiments of French Light Infantry for Spain 1809-1812.

So any hint about musician color and voltigeurs epaulets would be great.

Have to check order of battles to see was 27th light regiments (where we have drummer in Osprey plate) present in Spain?

Hmm, I believe that uniform color of light infantry drummer (battalion) was different.

In Osprey me-at-arms 146, Napoleon light Infantry, I saw even that drummer of central companies had  light blue / red uniform (plate E).

It is the reason i am searching for combo drummer/volitgeur epaulet/feathers per regiment.

But do you maybe know those rules? What should be color of the battalion drummer in light infantry regiment?|

My plan would be to create Light infantry regiments but with proper color for drummer and voltages epaulets and feathers per regiment.

    Thanks Guns,

    This explanation really helps.

this weekend we will make our first game with P&S and get first impression about rules.
We will play with default rules of course. I do not like to change rules in such core aspect like movement and shooting.

Will come back here with impressions 🙂

    Great explanation! Thanks Guns!
in the relative way P&S really looks proper to BP.

Just what bothers me in P&S is absolute view:
    – you have 3 turns to shoot on closing enemy -> strong fire

    – once in while (but not rare) pike regiment or even battalion , usually very slow and cumbersome, can make incredible move for 2 or 3 times more distance -> this looks too modern for ECW and more like Napoleonic

We will certainly try original fire to get beet feeling what it means in game.

If you have any suggestion form practice how to adjust it would be great to hear

eg. reduce musket to 12″ and allow double move just for +2 on command dice (deny triple move and reduce double move)

Thanks for answering! Great community is key to gaming systems.
