    Do 6+ armor soft-skinned vehicles have to roll on the damage  table or are they automatically removed when wounded?

    Yes. They still roll on the “Damage Results On Vehicles” table, but they can never receive only Superficial Damage. They could take Massive damage, however, depending on the weapon they are hit with. A weapon that has 3+ over their damage rating of 6+, would count as massive damage.

    All vehicles roll on the damage results chart when damaged by shooting (no superficial damage benefit for soft skins as Andrew pointed out).  Soft skins and open topped armoured vehicles are destroyed any time damage is caused by infantry in close quarters, no roll on the damage results chart in that situation.
