This weekend sees the largest Wargames show in the UK take place – the behemoth that is Salute 2016 – down in the heart of London’s docklands – and of course, Warlord Games will be there in force!
Last year, we had a colossal stand – packed with as much stock and staff as we could muster, and were almost over-run by the heaving throngs of wargamers who couldn’t wait to get their eager hands on our latest releases…
This year, we’re going even bigger and better! – the stand is even bigger, the staff are even more numerous, and the releases are even newer!
There are rumours that there’ll be a VERY limited number of a couple of rather BIG up-coming releases on the stand – if you’re lucky enough to get there soon enough…
The big day is almost here but not quite, so we can’t reveal everything just yet – however, it’s safe to say that there will be more than a few special items on offer on the day, and there are sure to be a few surprises along the way…
If you’ve never been to Salute before, take a look at some of our reviews of the previous few years shows to get a taster of what might be in store…
The show sees our beloved design studio staff unveiled and exposed to the public – they’re rarely allowed away from their painting/sculpting desks – but we unchain them every once-in-a-while, if they’ve behaved throughout the year….
You’ll be able to get up-close-and-personal, and can see them sculpting and painting in the flesh… they might even field a question or two, if you have any!
There will be demo games galore! If you haven’t yet tried Bolt Action, Beyond the Gates of Antares, or perhaps one of the new systems on show – come and pester the staff, who will be more than happy to throw some dice and talk you through the core mechanics…
…and of course, there’ll be a veritable MOUNTAIN of stock… we have a convoy of vans packed to the rafters with as many miniatures as we can muster – new releases, old favourites, and everything in-between!
We’ll also try to take as many new releases as is possible, as well as a whole heap of our ‘Mail Order Only’ vehicles – make sure you visit the stand as early in the day as you can – we don’t want you to miss out!
