    Hi

    I just started my first army for test of honour and I suppose pike and Shotte. But I’m not sure what books/rules dice, materials etc I need for my samurai minis.

    I opted for a mix of units for two small armies for me and my friends to use.

    We have 2 armies with 9 assorted samurai(katanas, and yari), 10 ashigu archers, 6 mounted samurai for each army.

    In addition to pike and Shotte/test of honour what other game systems work with 28mm samurai minis?

    For Pike and Shotte you’ll just need a copy of the Pike & Shotte rulebook and the Samurai Army List. The only dice you’ll need are D6s. The other thing you might need to think about are movement trays for your units so that you can move them easily in Pike & Shotte while keeping them individually based for skirmish games.
