As there does not seem to be a sub topic generally for entries I shall do my project thread here 🙂

My Early Imperial Romans: Veterans has been shipped and will hopefully be here for the weekend. I plan to get the unit built and undercoated and possibly base coated over the weekend. Will post updates as I progress 😀

I’ve never painted historical figures so this will be a new and exciting thing for me.

Love the battered shields! They look a hard-bitten bunch without a doubt.

Finally found some time to get some proper paint on these chaps… I’m hoping to still do some fine detailing and of course base them a bit better.

I am quite happy with how they look though, I’ve never painted anything historical before so trying to keep to a set theme has been a bit different for me 🙂

Very nice! Love that additional arm armour. I would definitely be looking for that if I had to face those nasty guys with two handed choppers!
