Hi I’m looking at dipping my toes into a bit of Ancient warfare and thought a skirmish game would be a good way to start to getting some figures painted and building units for larger games like Hail Caesar. I’ve not heard much with regard to SPQR. So I was wondering what’s the uptake like at your club or group compared to other games ? Bolt Action and Back Seas are really popular with us, how does this game compare ? The hard copy rule book was that just a limited addition release never to return ?
