    Very new to SPQR. If an attacker roll his melee dice and he rolls say 12 dice. What happens if I am defending this attack and I only have say six men left in my unit. Can I parry these, or must I have an equal or more men to parry?

    Depends what your unit is carrying. A sword gives 1 parry, a large shield gives 2 parry per model. So if your 6 guys have a large shield they would have 12 parries, 18 if they also have swords.
