SeanParticipantGreetings,
Here I need to clear one thing – is it correct that you may have only 3 bases artillery battery and no less? According to the Rules I may reduce only Infantry Unit to Small and Tiny (no Cavalry or Artillery) loosing 2 dice HtH, 1 Shooting and 1 Stamina. So is 1 base Artillery no legal? And so have I to buy 3 brigades (actually I did) to form the playable Artillery Battery?

NatParticipantDisclaimer – Dont have & havent played epic
However, in standard BP artillery are a single gun in the rules with an optional rule to allow the size to be shown with additional models.. this is normally because only Russians (in Napoleonics) can have large batterys, everyone else normal or half….
Looking at the stats you’ve shown I’d say that each battery is one size only – (what standard BP would call normal size ) no increasing /decreasing it. And that size is a single base!
what you have are 3 types of guns – light being 2-4 pdrs, medium being 6-8 pdrs and howitzers being squat little things that fire in parabolic arcs
(heavy artillery normally in a napoleonic sense is 12pdr +)-

SeanParticipantThank you for the answer.
If that would be a regular 28mm rules, I’d agree and accept that. But the Epic Scale dictates more miniatures on the tabletop, that’s why I still see “3 bases” for artillery and no option to reduce the quantity
