Hi Nigel,

If you rig the basic plastic ships per the rule book and glue on the sails and ratlings well they are very robust. I’ve dropped a plastic brig off the table onto a wood floor and it was completely unscathed.

So for Black Seas, they model at approximately 1/700th scale (most of the boxes have this in the top right corner).
Divide that by 700 and I get 6.55″ as my…[Read more]

Like many of you, I’ve spent hours staring at my Black Powder “Lucky Jack” model trying to figure out how to best integrate him into a game of Black Seas. When I saw someone over on Dakka Dakka (can’t find the post anymore more though) create a victory points counter for their GW Tau 40k army using the base from an Ultra Pro Life Point Counter, I…[Read more]

I really enjoyed your videos as well. Your rocky structures came out fantastic!

I’ve looked at a few options for terrain;
1) The Black Seas Scenary Pack – I really liked all the pieces in this set. I ended up buying a second to chop the base of the light house and Martello tower to allow better integration with my other terrain.

Hello all,

I’ve been racking my brain on a representative way to perform the width-wise bowspirit rigging considering that 1st rates have both a spirtsail mast and top spiritsail mast. Unfortunatly it seems most of the photos from Warlord for the 1st Rate models don’t clearly show this part of the ships, so its hard to determine how this is…[Read more]
