Hey all and welcome aboard Mr Stallard’s Cruel Seas Workshop! It’s no surprise that our illustrious leader has been beavering away in his lunchtime hours and long winter evenings at his fabulous Cruel Seas collection…

John Stallard Cruel Seas In The Workshop

Hello Folks,
We recently underwent a bit of renovation here in the office, not being one to throw away rather useful “bits” I spotted the potential of our lighting unit covers [Diffusers] for an easy win battlefield solution…

You can find these wonderful pieces of plastic at most DIY or lighting places in rather handy sizes. A quick spray of an Army Painter blue on one side, followed by some artful use of white dry brushing on the other and I now have an ocean to battle across!

The lads here grabbed a few of my ships, quite an eclectic selection but I have to say one of my quiet favourites has to be the Royal Marine crewed Landing Craft Gun (L) MkIII, with those lovely 4.7 inchers! Come on Jerry come out and fight! (ps Jerry is one of my gaming group, nothing like offering up a friendly challenge 😉

We want you to send in your collection pictures along with a few paragraphs about them to armies@warlordgames.com…

Who knows – your army could be the next feature “In The Workshop”!

We love John’s simple approach but if you can’t get hold of these light diffusers don’t worry Warlord and Deepcut have the solutions for your table top here:
