Jim RipleyParticipantLovin the new Warlord Resin figures . Truth be told, I wou :ld rather have plastic ( I love to kit bash ), but the resin is 100% better than the old metal figures . How about redoing your artillery kits in Warlord Resin ? The last few kits I’ve got have been a grab bag of : Ok I can make this work . Or ,I think I have to replace some parts in plastic , To , it’s piece of crap I’ll have to use it as a knocked out / damaged scenery piece . Gun barrels are very difficult to get perfectly level when they come bent . Trail legs , if of box construction ( square ) can usually be bent to shape , the round trail legs , not so much so I replace them with plastic rod . Plus your kit instructions , when I can find them, are very vague . A 3/4 front view really doesn’t help when there are 3 or 4 pieces to be glued behind the gun shield . . I’m lucky enough to have a large library of Military reference books to go to for walk around views but your average modeler gets frustrated . You might want to include the instruction sheet with the multi view pictures of the kit in the store . It would help modelers to judge if the kit was buildable at their skill level . I’ve been model building for 50 plus years and there’s a couple of guns I just gave up on .
Not to be all negative , I’m really loving you newer Bolt Action troop boxes , the Brits , Veteran Germans , Winter FJ ( got the Winter Brits on preorder ) . Your tank kits have been getting better with each release , looking forward to the Grant .
