I used Krylon covermax metallic aluminum. It was a pain to work with, the acrylic paint kept beading up and I had to put several thin coats on. I used Vallejo and MiG metallics on on these, and I’ll be going back to them.

Are those 1/200 scale CR.32’s? If so, where did you find them? I was hoping to get some.

Armaments In Miniature has a line of 1/200 scale aircraft, including bombers. Also, the Wings of War/Glory WWII line of aircraft are 1/200 scale.

Thnx Bob, I used the Miscellaneous Miniatures SCW ones, and a set of invasion stripes (get the sets with individual stripes). Bit of trimming involved as the Republican sets are for the I-15 and earlier model of the SB-2, and they only have BF109 decals for the Condor Legion, but there’s enough there to make them work.
