New: Pike & Shotte Thirty Years War character!

And now something completely different – Cardinal Richelieu!  Nobody expects the French Inquisition…

The Red Eminence, as he was known, was a powerful clergyman acting as the French King Louis XIII’s First Minister. Richelieu transformed France into a strong central power and wielded not inconsiderable influence during the war.

Our model is firmly inspired by Henri Motte’s depiction of Richelieu besieging La Rochelle as seen above – a brooding piece of art that should have any gamer worth their salt heading for the Thirty Years War section of our new webstore!

Richelieu, dressed in trademark red robes over cuirassier armour is accompanied by his ‘guest’.  Shackled and bowed, before the sight of God and the stely glare of The red Eminence, the prisoner is supplied with two head options – one wearing an iron Mask…

This glorious character pack would make a great subject for a diorama or as part of a Pike & Shotte command stand.

Next week – the Comfy Chair…
