Open Day check ...

Postby Big Al » Sat Nov 28, 2009 5:37 pm

I only called in for a couple of hours today, but was impressed with what I saw. So much so that I came away with the rulebook, something I wasn't sure about before. Don't know why I stalled, really. I was also very impressed with the venue. It was my first visit there and I wasn't expecting it. I thought it would be a large shop with a couple of tables in the middle. Boy, was I wrong! Fantastic place, really!

Had a brilliant time. Played the zulu game from either side and enjoyed it immensely.

(Lancers should be used aggressively!)

An excellent day. My thanks to all who made it happen.

Like Baggers I played the ECW game twice (being of particular interest). Thanks to Gareth, Steve and Dave from Warlord I now have a rudimentary grasp of the rules although some of the ECW specific ones were changing during the day. More on that in another thread.
