Has anyone ever tried Foundry miniatures?And if so,how do they compare to other miniatures?

Hi there,

It would be a fantastic period to do. I have always fancied having a go at Crusaders and Saracens. What's also good with that era is all the siege machinery, and fortified cities, so there would be lots of variety to the gaming side of things. Bye.

What abaout more Dark Age stuff?

Vikings, Saxons and things like that? I find the othe companies lacking in quality for those minis.

Nope, but I have seen pictures of them beside a Warlord mini, and they fit in size.

Gripping Beast...makes nice "metal" vikings and Musketeer has a superb range on metal saxons

tough I wouldent mind if the nice ffolk of WL Games would do any dark age-midieval plastics,

thats why I anxiuosly await the german tribes...Laughing

Sorry, usually only look at ECW posts, only just noticed this. If you haven't already bought some I rate foundry secound only to Warlord, in fact I buy most of my figs from these two companies, never bought medieval but if they're anything like their zulu or ECW range you can't go wrong!
