Cheers all.

Noticed you'd been absent a few days, hope it all works out okay for her, how old is she?

Sadly she's just four. It's been a real roller coaster, she is in surgery now. Large cyst in her brain as well as a very rare thing called Chiari Syndrome - ironically this affects Cavalier King Charles spaniels in almost all cases, rarely in Yorkshire Terriers which is my dog.

Thanks for the thoughts guys.

Are you sure she hasn't been displaying royalist tendencies lately?

Hope the surgery is successful.

I shall briefly raise my protective foil hat to send positive vibes across the Atlantic.

Managed to tackle the enormous rain forests that appeared in the front and back gardens during our 40 days and 40 nights of endless rainfall. That English hosepipe ban looks pretty silly now doesn't it? Why does a lot of rain mean the ants decide to build multiple metropoli* on my lawns? I swear I saw a tiny Starbucks in one of them as the strimmer took the first ten storeys off their urban landscape.

*That is a beautiful marriage of illiteration right there and since I may never get to use it again, I'm going to take a moment to go back over the words and quietly mouth them to myself.

Grant, hope your wee dog is ok. Mine is in her sixteenth year and is stone death and has arthritis and glaucoma.

Cheers! My last one made it to 14; that's a hard road too.

Hope your dog is OK @Grant. Have you managed to find any new gamers yet?

Well, the dog made it out good - so far. Fingers and stuff crossed. The bill for neurosurgery on a 5lb Yorkie would stagger most- I know I had no problem saying yes, but it may mean a lot of things I own will get sold.

The new gamer problem promises to sort itself out as I may be moving to a big city soon. Both choices have lots of groups. So that's positive too.
