Had 3 days off so got loads done, built and almost finished (just the bases to do), my Praetorian unit, built the basic bases for an island ready for my Pirate project soon to start, just back from seeing Prometheus and now going to finish off the Cardinal Richelieu / Soloman Kane conversion that I started last night ready for Witchfinder (which I'm really pleased with the out come). BTW the "guest" figure that comes with Richelieu comes with head variants, one of which looks like Charles I and seeing as he's bound and leaning forward........ plus the head comes off ( ) for all you Parlaimentarians out there.

Graduation today, a visit to Segedunum and the castle keep in Newcastle tomorrow, finishing with a game of WAB or W&C on Sunday. Sorted.

Finishing off painting some British Legion for my AWI collection. Then hope to start some Queens Rangers.
Too many projects on the go as usual, as I'm also putting the finishing touches to some Warlord ECW Highlanders (the first of many).

Apart from that my eldest daughters birthday party, a replacement/spare bicycle for me (urgently needed as mine only just made it home today and needs major repairs), and if weather and time permit a clear out of the garage so that it can be converted into a wargames room.

Packing up for the annual Cornwall trip to see the in-laws, so squeezing in the Numidian horsemen and some WF Numidians to try to get assembled before the Republic set is released, plus some AB cavalry/warriors to make up as frenzied "nutters" using the special heads from the AB set (no, I won't say it ... ). Got my copy of Republic of Rome back from an old uni friend last week, might see if I can remember how to play it to scare Carvel with ... will take Bohnanza! and the Agricola too, see if we can't get a game in ... WI finally arrived in WHSmith today, so will be pouring over the BA article (in the absence of a pre-release set of rules ). Might dig out the old SL for those scenarios ... Tractor Factory, anyone?

It's been a long week for me. My dog had seizures. MRI emergency followed, and today is emergency brain surgery. I'm hoping that she comes out of it.
