Experiences with Drying Retarder

Drying Retarder, has anyone used it, i would like to experiment with "wet" blending but i am way too slow with my paints and finally i have to consider buying some drying retarder from reaper (i heard there's was the best)
what are anyone's experience with this product

I use the Vallejo version and yes, it does work. I used to use soapy water, which wasn't bad, but the drying retarder is a lot better. You only need a drop or two and it does the job nicely, keeping the paint wet for you to work with.

I've used the Winsor and Newton Fluid Retarder you can get in big bottles from Hobbycraft. It seems to work very well, makes the acrylic paints a lot more 'controllable'. If you want to wet blend acrylics I'd say it's pretty much essential. If you are really very slow you could always try oils

Ditto. That and a wet palette and you can be as good as Cubster.
