After my last boob regarding TV progs, here's on I've seen before and can commend. OK, there may be doubts about the historical accuracy, but the battle scenes ...

This is the movie that killed off most of the actors and crew. In order to make the studio scenes look the same as the outdoor ones, they brought in tons of sand.

Sad thing is, they used the sand from a certain area used by the military in testing the new Bombs. The number of actors and crew that died of Cancer and Leukemia related deaths is way above average. I remember years ago a documentary about this. Another piece of uslesss information.
