Sometimes the bases need to be trimmed a little, but most of the time they fit. A US penny is only 1mm smaller in diameter than a UK one.

There was a nice little anecdote about the Duke of Westminster and the American Embassy. He owns the building in Grosvenor Square where the US Embassy is sited in London, and Washington asked if he would consider selling it to them.

He said he would, if some property taken from his family during the American War of Independence was returned to him. They asked what it was and he replied, "The state of Virginia". The deal did not go ahead.

hey vogless, was just checkin out your at gun. Great job on the base! My question for you is that glued down to the base or can you remove it from the base? The reason for my question is if it is permanent, does it interfere with the terrain that is already on the field of play?

After seeing the building in the early 90's I'd be willing to give you guys Alabama for it. ;)

@BA: It's glued down. I left the crew individually based to show casualties and such. No problems as yet. I just treat the gun as the gun, and the base scenery... Can't think of any rules I've read where basing guns or tanks are an issue....
