Looking for opponents - Mansfield area

Owing to this being a new period for many in the local area, I am now looking for players that can and want to play P & S from Nottingham to Sheffield. I have plenty of toys available, primarily for 30 yrs war in 28mm ( look at Wargames Illus No 284 and you will see why) and copious amounts of 15mm ECW as well.

Fotuneately I also have a dedicated room in Shirebrook at home, so a table is never a problem.

I am interested to see the first event in Scarborough in the not too distant future, and would love to go along to this. I will be speaking with them this week to find out more.

Well you have at least one opponent. My ECW will convert to TYW too although my interest doesn't really lie in that direction - i'll give it a go although i may need to borrow some specific figures if you do want to go earlier period

I'd rather play in period/theatre of war of course
